SPEEDY J

Jochem Paap, known by the moniker Speedy J, is recognized as one of the pioneering techno producers from the Benelux region. Alongside figures like Laurent Garnier, Aphex Twin, and Richie Hawtin, he played a pivotal role in shaping the techno genre shortly after its emergence from Detroit. Speedy J's early releases on labels like Plus 8, Warp, and Novamute contributed to techno's global rise in the early '90s. However, after albums like "G Spot" (1993) and "Ginger" (1995), he veered away from the mainstream techno sound.
